How postings work
Under Louisiana’s open meetings law (R.S. 42:19), the agenda for a meeting is posted at least 24 hours beforehand in the Courthouse, Room 102, and on this page. Minutes are added after the meeting is called to order and approved.
What we fixed on this page
Agendas are posted as a web page as well as a PDF, in the same 24-hour window. On the previous site the only posting was a scanned PDF, which a screen reader could not read — so a blind resident could not find out what was being decided.
